The Rocky Mount Mills Pinboard Visualization was one of the first digital exhibits that CHW created on the mill. It uses historical sources to engage the user with the history of Rocky Mount Mills and the surrounding mill village. The exhibit reveals geographical connections between oral history interviews, photographs, and documents and important sites in the mill and the surrounding mill village by locating each source on an aerial image of the Tar River, Rocky Mount Mills, the mill village, and even downtown Rocky Mount. Each colored dot on the image represents one source, and to view the source, simply click on the dot you wish to view and select the flashing button on the upper toolbar.
